About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our R&D department at NDI Europe GmbH. As a key member of our agile development team, you will play a crucial role in preparing our software landscape for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain software for testing and characterization of our sensors and devices in production, prioritizing user-friendliness, robustness, performance, and maintainability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues in production, ensuring seamless application transfer and addressing questions and issues.
- Analyze existing systems, identifying areas for improvement and developing proposals for technological and quality enhancements.
- Contribute to the development of software documentation, verification, and validation processes, ensuring compliance with medical field standards.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training as an IT specialist for application development.
- Proficiency in Python programming, with C++ being a desirable additional skill.
- Familiarity with version control using GIT or SVN is a plus.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and a passion for continuous learning.
- Fluency in German and English to effectively communicate with colleagues worldwide.
