About the Position

This position plays a crucial part in the continued functional development of AOS NextGen, as well as new business launches and implementations, application support, and customer change requests and projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT Department to achieve these goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will concentrate on front-end development, focusing on usability and reusability for system users.
  • You will have a comprehensive understanding of full stack development for a global application.
  • You will understand the business area and user requirements.
  • You will develop new and support current user-facing features, determining page structure and design usability while utilizing reusable code and optimizing page response times.
  • You will be responsible for program design, coding, and development, as well as unit and integration testing.
  • You will have the ability to program applications and integrate complex business logic according to a given design specification.
  • You will produce high-quality software solutions within time and budget.
  • You will collaborate closely with the Analyst Team to create and maintain a cohesive and connected relationship that supports the needs of the business.

Your Requirements

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in:

  • Application front-end technologies including React, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS.
  • Application server knowledge with JBOSS, Tomcat, or Weblogic.
  • PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL, development including stored procedures, triggers, tuning queries, and database performance optimization.
  • Practical use of application reporting tools like JasperSoft or BIRT.
  • Java build process and tools including Ant or Maven.
  • Fully positive and negative functional testing and verification of the application code.
  • Delivering well-documented technical solutions within the constraints of time, cost, and functionality.
  • Experience and sound troubleshooting and tuning considerations for web-based applications.
  • Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC, JavaBeans, and Restful Webservices.
  • Experience with Java IDEs like Intellij or Eclipse.
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
