Job Summary
Our client, a leading international logistics company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Disposition Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of goods across Germany and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods across Germany and internationally
- Conduct freight calculations and negotiate rates with carriers
- Procure and sell freight services to customers
- Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with regional offices to ensure seamless logistics operations
Requirements
- Completed commercial education, preferably in logistics or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related field, preferably in charter transportation
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and verbal
- Strong teamwork and negotiation skills, with a passion for international communication
