The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to join our Field team. As a key member of our pre-sales and post-sales team, you will work closely with customers and prospects to ensure they achieve value with Firebolt's product. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding customers through the technical evaluation process, providing guidance on product best practices, and executing critical product tests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) through requirement gathering and hands-on Firebolt implementation.
- Ensure customers implement and use Firebolt according to best practices, unleashing its full potential in pre and post-sale engagements.
- Become a Firebolt platform expert, working closely with Product and Engineering to turn customer challenges into features and solutions.
- Present Firebolt's platform and benefits to prospective customers and partners.
- Collaborate with the account team to help customers and prospects succeed with their Firebolt use cases.
- Experience in pre or post-sale activities for a software vendor (e.g. sales engineer, solutions engineer, solutions architect, etc)
- Hands-on experience with database/data warehouse implementations in cloud environments
- Deep understanding of the data and analytics space
- Fluent in SQL
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Hands-on experience with analytic use cases, ETL workflows, and BI tools
- Rich hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem
- Great communication skills and the ability to transfer knowledge effectively to prospects/customers
- Ability to work with business and technical audiences and lead business requirement meetings, technical white boarding exercises, and SQL coding/debugging sessions
