Senior Sales Manager for Utility Scale PV Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Sales Manager to join our team at SOFARSOLAR Co., LTD. as a key member of our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and government policy analysis to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Partner with local staff to develop and implement business plans, build relationships with key accounts, and provide exceptional sales service to clients.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to support local marketing activities, such as product launches and exhibitions.
  • Prepare sales reports for sales forecasting and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a commercial or related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in the Utility Scale PV projects industry.
  • Business development expertise with a proven sales track record in the PV industry.
  • Deep understanding of IPPs, EPCs, and technical advisors' business needs through the Solar industry.
  • Previous sales experience within solar inverter vendors is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of inverter technology, supply contracts, and PV market trends.
  • Familiar with industry standards and practices.
  • Able to work with a high degree of independence, sharp market sense, and strong development and sales ability.
