Data Center Operations Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our Site Operations Department. As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall health of our data center infrastructure, including mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules. You will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional service to our customers and ensure business continuity and excellence of operations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the completion of maintenance activities to the highest quality level, including planning, preparation, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure the full reliability of our infrastructure, focusing on continuity of services, energy efficiency, and budgetary constraints.
- Use our Building Management System (BMS) and other available systems to monitor and maintain our data center infrastructure.
- Technical training in one of the following fields: electricity, air conditioning, fire and physical safety, or centralized building management systems.
- Data center experience, preferably in data center operations or similar mission-critical environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge in operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems, and building management/automation equipment.
- Supervision of Level II, III, and IV maintenance works on site infrastructure.
- Proven skills in the use of software, such as BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and MS Project.
- Candidates must possess reliable transportation for reporting to work for shifts or emergencies.
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
- Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
- Raised floor work, requiring the ability to maneuver and work underneath and around raised floor of varying heights.
