About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President Corporate Finance/M&A to join our team at Banking Consult Executive Search. As a key member of our corporate finance and M&A team, you will be responsible for leading deal execution, process organisation, modelling and valuation analysis, and creating transaction support documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a lead role in deal execution, including process organisation, modelling and valuation analysis, and creation of transaction support documents.
  • Work on complex sell-and buy-side mandates with exposure to various industries.
  • Collaborate with different client groups, such as entrepreneurs, private equity firms, and corporates.
  • Develop and run financial and operating models for marketing and transaction purposes.
  • Conduct valuation work and financial modelling, including DCF and LBO analysis.
  • Manage project workstreams and material preparations autonomously.
  • Mentor and manage team members at the analyst and associate levels.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with a strong academic track record and studies abroad.
  • At least 5 years of relevant practical experience in corporate finance/M&A advisory from an international investment bank or boutique advisory firm.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of valuation and modelling techniques, as well as financial theory and accounting.
  • Great interpersonal skills, with a self-starter mentality and the ability to get things done.
  • Experience in guiding people and strong skills in collaborative situations.
  • Team-orientated and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong client focus, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships.
  • Fluent in German and English, speaking and writing.
