Your tasks:

  • Carrying out all cross-location operational purchasing activities for the assigned product group with corresponding documentation
  • Ensuring the availability of materials in assigned product groups
  • Checking inquiry documents (e.g. specifications/drawings) for completeness/plausibility
  • Proactive communication and operational negotiation with suppliers to clarify deadlines, prices and other operational purchasing issues
  • Coordination with internal interface partners (e.g. production, development and quality) on operational purchasing topics
  • Maintenance of operational purchasing master data in SAP

Your profile:

  • Commercial vocational training and several years of experience in operational purchasing of technical products
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills and initiative
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured and process-oriented manner
  • Knowledge of SAP MM and common MS Office applications
  • Confident written and spoken English skills
  • Sound technical understanding
