About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin. As a key member of our global team of tech specialists, you will be responsible for designing and developing a back-end system for a data application using microservices-based architecture.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and document technical solutions, including creating non-functional requirements and architecture adherence
  • Develop new functionality from scratch
  • Ensure testability and supportability in production
  • Collaborate with QA & DevOps teams to improve test automation and SDLC processes

Your Skills and Experience

  • Several years of working experience with Java / Kotlin
  • Good knowledge of Microservices Architecture, Open-API, Rest Services
  • Good knowledge of database technologies, preferably distributed column-based databases, good SQL knowledge and experience building high-performant and scalable end-to-end solutions with databases
  • Working knowledge of GIT, Jenkins, CICD pipelines, DevOps & SRE techniques
  • Very good written and spoken English
