Circuit Simulator Software Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to enhance our in-house circuit simulator. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your software development expertise across various applications, contributing to development, implementation, maintenance, and tool support simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize Infineon's in-house circuit simulator for maximum performance, feature set, and maintainability
- Enhance existing software modules through refactoring and code maintenance
- Provide support to our global user community
- Develop technical documentation
- Engage in EU-funded projects focused on relevant topics for Infineon's simulation communities
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
- Several years of experience in simulation software development, electronic design automation (EDA), algorithm development, or related technical areas
- Proficiency in C++/C programming in LINUX and Windows environments
- Familiarity with the SystemC programming language
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in developing co-simulation environments and coupling algorithms
- Knowledge of numerical methods, high-performance data structures, algorithms, and memory optimization techniques
- Self-motivation with strong interpersonal and problems-solving abilities
Additional Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with SPICE-simulators (e.g., SIMetrix, Orcad PSpice, LTspice, Cadence Spectre, Synopsys HSPICE, Siemens EDA AFS, etc.) or simulation frameworks (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, COSIDE, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential, while German language proficiency is a bonus
