Battery Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Scientist to join our team at Skeleton Technologies. As a key member of our Superbattery Development department, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge energy storage solutions for transportation, grid, automotive, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize SuperBattery cells to meet performance targets
- Collaborate with technicians to build and test prototype cells
- Analyze test data and make conclusions to improve development
- Validate components from alternative suppliers or development partners
- Work with industrial engineers to ensure mass manufacturability
- Provide expertise to resolve production and quality issues
- MSc or Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of academic and/or industrial research experience in Li-ion battery development
- Hands-on experience with electrochemical testing methods
- Experience in interpreting results from physical characterization methods
- Skills in data analytics and visualization
- Systemic problem-solving skills
