Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Commodity Manager

At Applied Materials, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Commodity Manager to join our Materials and Supply Chain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commodity strategies, managing commercial aspects, and establishing a robust supply chain for ICT products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commodity strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage all commercial aspects, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management
  • Establish and maintain a robust supply chain for ICT products, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and efficient production
  • Manage business challenges and regulatory issues, leading processes for product or service improvements
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering or related field, with a second degree in Business Administration an advantage
  • Relevant technological knowledge, including Mechanical Engineering or Physics
  • Minimum 7 years of purchasing experience in the engineering industry
  • Profound experience in strategic Suppliers Management
  • Strong commercial orientations, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to solve unique and complex problems with a broad impact on the supply chain business
  • Experience in leading cross-organization projects and leadership capabilities
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Willingness for international business travels (up to 25%)
