About the Role
As the Reference Project Line (RPL) Owner for FACTS Solution, you will play a pivotal role in driving the ongoing development of Control & Protection (C&P) Versions within our dynamic development team. Your responsibilities extend to managing the RPL budget planning and allocation process, ensuring seamless alignment with key stakeholders. You'll also oversee development control, meticulously monitoring time, budget, and quality.
Your Impact
- Coordinate activities and foster effective communication across diverse project teams and the C&P Platform development teams.
- Define and refine the scope and release backlog for the Reference Project Line, operating within the framework of C&P Platform Development.
- Lead and manage the team's activities to ensure efficient collaboration and productivity.
- Maintain an updated backlog, ensuring it remains aligned with project priorities and goals.
- Establish clear and transparent communication channels with customers and their respective projects, diligently meeting their requirements and expectations.
- Identify stakeholders who could be impacted by the project (R&D and customer), analyze their expectations and impact on the project, and implement appropriate management strategies to engage them in project decisions and execution.
- Conduct regular interactions with the stakeholder community.
- Perform recurring retrospectives and lessons learned sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and enhance team competencies.
Your Qualifications
- A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with extensive professional experience in solution development projects.
- Practical experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge and experience with FACTS and HVDC Solutions.
- Experience within Software, Hardware, or Solution Development in an Agile environment is highly desirable.
- Analytical skills, initiative, communication skills, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to effectively lead a team.
- Fluency in English and German.
