Optimus Search is seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and quality assurance, with experience in the railway industry. The role will involve assessing the quality of parts from suppliers, inspecting welding drawings, and confirming conformity. The candidate will also be responsible for training on customer processes and products, and will be required to be on site within 1-2 days upon request. The estimated workload per year is 150-400 hours. The successful candidate will have a CL2 certification, knowledge of ISO14731, and 5 years of professional experience. German language skills are required. The position is a freelance contract with a minimum duration of 2 years, with the possibility of extension. The location is Mannheim and surrounding area, with the option to work from home for document review and communication. The ideal candidate will be a skilled welder with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
