Job Summary:
We're seeking a Senior Data Architect to join our team in Frankfurt or Luxembourg. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the Enterprise Data Model (EDM) and Information Domains for DWS. You will lead a team of architects and modelers to ensure the EDM is up-to-date and aligned to changing demands in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the EDM and Information Domains for DWS
- Lead a team of architects and modelers to ensure the EDM is up-to-date and aligned to changing demands in the organization
- Model a core logical EDM and derive specific schemas for DWS' event-driven architecture
- Partner with key stakeholders to model data at source systems that aligns with the EDM
- Work in close collaboration with Data Governance and Data Quality Management teams to review/approve data provisioning from a simplified access and governance perspective
- Articulate the direction of data architecture, with the importance of Data Mastership and Data Flow mapping
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Enterprise Data Modelling and Architecture in a global financial services environment
- Experience in Data Architecture Governance and in modern (event-driven) data architecture
- Extensive experience in architecture standards and methodologies such as TOGAF, SAFe
- An understanding of applicable technology/digital regulations such as KAIT, BAIT, DORA would be beneficial
- Flexible team player with experience in working in distributed, global environments and teams
- Proven leadership and ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a strategic level
- Excellent communication, both in listening and conveying messages to a wide range of stakeholder groups
- Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop creative and structured solutions
