Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Manager (m/w/d) to join our team at E.ON Hydrogen GmbH. As a key member of our regulatory affairs team, you will be responsible for monitoring relevant developments in regulatory law and providing strategic guidance and assessments to enable beneficial decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments in the energy sector, identifying key trends and implications for our business.
- Develop and deliver strategic guidance and assessments to inform business decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Controlling and European and German grid regulation teams, to share regulatory insights and best practices.
- Support the development of business models and regulatory strategies, ensuring alignment with current and future regulatory schemes.
- Prepare and present regulatory updates, position papers, and reports to internal and external stakeholders, including politicians and industry experts.
- Participate in regulatory projects and initiatives, working closely with external bodies and associations to shape the regulatory framework.
- Good economic and/or international regulatory energy industry qualifications.
- Above-average diploma or master's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Law.
- Deep knowledge of national and/or international regulation, with a focus on the EU and Germany.
- Well-founded analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as high communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Enthusiasm for acquiring new specialist knowledge and developing yourself further.
- Full working proficiency in German and English.
