SAP Transportation Management Consultant

K&K Social Resources & Development GmbH, an international recruiting agency, is seeking a highly experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) consultant to join one of our clients in Germany. This is a contract position with a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of SAP TM solutions, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SAP TM functionality, including LTL, FTL, Transportation Master Data, and Order Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP EM, S/4 HANA, and other systems.
- Provide expert-level support for production issues, enhancement deadlines, and escalations.
- Contribute to the development of custom SAP TM solutions, including requirement gathering, configuration, and testing.
- Prepare and execute SAP TM test cases with business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of SAP TM functionality.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in SAP TM as a functional consultant.
- Deep understanding of SAP TM configuration, including RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, user exits, and enhancement points.
- Experience in SAP TM areas such as configuration of LTL, FTL, Transportation Master Data, Transportation Order Management, Quotation and RFQ Management, End-to-end Order management, Freight order management, Freight procurement and capacity planning, Package, Load and Dispatching Planning, Execution and monitoring, Optimization of ERP Logistics integration, Interactive planning, Subcontracting and Tendering, Customer and Supplier contracts, Agreement management and settlements [invoicing], Tariff and rate calculation, Charge calculation and settlements, Order workflow control, Internal charging, Draft customer and supplier invoices, Document Management, Output Management.
- Adequate knowledge in real-time tracking, monitoring, exception handling, and analysis of purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and freight conditions to provide visibility on status, location, history, analytics, etc.
- Ability to lead custom developments in SAP TM solutions, including requirement gathering, configuration, and testing.
