Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Manager to join our team at JTI in Trier. As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will be responsible for establishing and specifying primary processing parameters for product prototyping and commercial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and provision of primary processing parameters and specifications for Conventional and Reduced Risk Products.
  • Qualify new and upgraded primary processing lines and individual equipment in JTI factories.
  • Scale up and roll out new primary processing technologies to enhance current product quality.
  • Cooperate with GSC by designing new lines with providing respective processing requirements and specifications.
  • Provide support in technical solving to ensure product quality in JTI factories and licensees.

Requirements

  • Relevant educational background: University degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
  • Practical experience: At least 5 years of business practice in the tobacco industry or FMCG industry in an international environment.
  • Valuable knowledge: Sound knowledge of primary processing and experience in production processes.
  • Special strengths: Excellent analytical skills and technical understanding, fluent in English, and willingness to travel.
