Food Preparation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at REWE. As a key member of our convenience food team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, ready-to-eat meals that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package convenience food items, such as salads and dressings, to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that all food products meet our quality standards and are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Work collaboratively with our sales team to ensure that our convenience food section is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in food preparation and presentation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation and presentation, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
