Job Description

As a seasoned SAP Solution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digitalization and automation of our clients' business processes. Your expertise will enable central application management, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of SAP Solution Manager 7.2.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze customer technical and functional requirements for SAP Solution Manager implementation.
  • Manage installation, configuration, and adaptation of SAP Solution Manager 7.2, establishing a solid foundation for migration to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Maximize SAP SolMan 7.2 potential by integrating various modules and functions, such as AppOps, BPM, DVM, ChaRM/Retrofit, CCLM, ITSM, LMDB, SolDoc, PPM, Test Suite, and SMD, into effective solutions for centralized application management.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of implementation, operation, and monitoring processes, including SolMan Setup, Managed System Config, SLD Config, and EWA.
  • Manage technical monitoring, integration monitoring, and system monitoring with alert configuration.
  • Simplify central monitoring of critical business processes by implementing SAP Business Process Monitoring (BPM) and creating a central access point for solution documentation with the integration of the Solution Documentation (SolDoc) module.
  • Simplify change control processes by implementing Change Request Management (ChaRM) for the entire SAP system landscape.
  • Support configuration and usage of test management functions and integrate test automation tools, such as eCATT, CBTA, UFT, TOSCA, Worksoft, and Leapwork.
  • Perform gap analysis and create plans to resolve gaps in Solution Manager modules.
  • Cooperate and assist with documentation, preparation, training, support, and guidance for comprehensive support functions.
Requirements
  • University degree with technical background.
  • Several years of practical experience as an SAP Solution Consultant.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of SAP SolMan 7.2 and experience with various modules and functions.
  • Experience with different SolMan versions and customization of SolMan monitoring templates for different SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in development, implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Solution Manager.
  • Excellent communication skills, service-oriented attitude, and high analytical skills for successful cooperation with the IT department and clients.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, possibly German.
  • Enjoyment of agile project work in a national or international work environment.
