Business Continuity Specialist

For our partner company in the healthcare sector, we are seeking a Business Continuity Manager to join our team at GULP – experts united. As part of a direct placement, this permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our client.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Business Continuity Management (BCM) and IT emergency management processes. This includes developing and implementing business impact and risk analyses, creating business continuation and restart plans, and preparing and implementing emergency tests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing BCM and IT emergency management processes
  • Developing and implementing business impact and risk analyses
  • Creating business continuation and restart plans, as well as emergency manuals for critical business processes
  • Preparing, implementing, and moderating emergency tests and deriving suitable measures for improvement
  • Advising and supporting individual departments on BCM and IT emergency management issues
  • Operational control and coordination of IT emergencies
  • Planning and implementing exercises and tests of BCM and emergency plans, as well as training courses

Requirements include:

  • Experience in IT emergency management and knowledge of BCM processes
  • Experience in common standards and norms, such as ISO 22301 and BSI Standard 200-4
  • Analytical and organized way of working with a solution-oriented character
  • Sense of responsibility, initiative, and very good coordination skills
  • Very good written and spoken German
