Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Luxair. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for working with project teams, key users, and company leadership to understand user needs and concerns, and translating them into clear functional requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements;
  • Develop and maintain business process maps and documentation;
  • Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements;
  • Design and implement business solutions to meet user needs;
  • Ensure that business solutions are aligned with company goals and objectives;
  • Provide training and support to users on new business processes and systems;
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate business processes to identify areas for improvement;
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure business process performance;
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure that business solutions are properly implemented and maintained.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or similar;
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, business analytics, requirements engineering, data engineering, data science, or related field;
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing operational and system solutions to meet user needs;
  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and techniques (BABOK, Design Thinking...);
  • Record of delivering large-scale projects delivering system solutions with business impact;
  • Excellent attention to detail, passion for processes, systems, continuous improvement, and formalisation;
  • Ability to deliver the requested tasks with little guidance and willingness to run the extra mile in autonomy;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and raise in advance any delivery risk;
  • Ability to work under stress with tight deadlines;
  • Superior communication skills and ability to adjust communication to different groups of stakeholders;
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, and task management tools (JIRA, Monday, etc...);
  • Fluency in English (French is considered an asset).

Desired or to be Acquired Criteria:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or similar;
  • Experience working in a production environment;
  • Excellent communication skills in French and/or German.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge or sound knowledge of air cargo handling processes;
  • Experience in implementing a "Commercial Off The Shelf" product.
