Job Title: German Copywriter

This is a unique opportunity to join our team at DEPT as a German Copywriter. As a key member of our Personalised Creative team, you will be responsible for developing compelling marketing copy that drives clicks and engagement across various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients onsite marketing
  • Developing creative ideas and concepts across various channels where applicable
  • Adhering to clients' tone of voice and brand guidelines
  • Researching competitors and trends for creative inspiration
  • Collaborating with design and account management
  • Contributing to team creative brainstorms

Requirements:

  • Mastery of German language and grammar
  • Understanding of UK and US English
  • 0-1 years copywriting experience; a background in agency or brand is preferred
  • Experience in the e-commerce/retail environment a plus
  • Exposure to multi-channel digital copy and brand development; a background in social media content and copywriting preferred
  • Ability to create marketing content that sells
  • Confidence in working with other Copywriters and Editors
  • Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets
  • An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically
  • A collaborative approach to getting things done
  • A supportive, proactive attitude towards projects
