Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to lead supplier quality issues at our Germany plant. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in quality management and process improvement to drive excellence in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate containment actions and review meetings to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Interface with commodity SQEs to support fast resolution of quality issues.
• Support new parts launches and address supplier-related quality issues, reporting directly to HQ and EU plants.
• Monitor and track supplier performance, taking proactive measures to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering, with at least 5 years of quality-related working experience.
• Familiarity with automotive supplier audits and IATF/VDA certification as an auditor.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, injection molding, and quality tools/methodologies (8D, SPC, MSA, Gauging).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Fluency in English and German, with proficiency in Chinese a plus.
