As a Specialist in Industrial Insurance, you'll play a critical role in shaping our global insurance strategy and driving our mission to deliver world-class engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with external insurance brokers to ensure alignment with our comprehensive global insurance strategies.
  • Review and provide strategic feedback on insurance-related contract components to ensure full compliance with our Global Risk Policy.
  • Administer and optimize our global insurance program, guaranteeing consistent coverage across all divisions, units, and countries.
  • Efficiently handle insurance claims across various sectors, ensuring they are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with project teams to embed insurance considerations into project planning and execution, ensuring risk management is integral to all initiatives.
Requirements:
  • An apprenticeship as an insurance clerk or equivalent qualification; further training as an insurance specialist or a degree in business studies is highly desirable.
  • Several years of robust experience in the insurance industry, particularly within industrial insurance. Experience with international insurance programs will be a significant advantage.
  • Deep expertise in liability, engineering, property, and marine insurance.
  • A strong grasp of the technical and legal aspects relevant to industrial insurance, enabling you to navigate complex scenarios effectively.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and German, essential for clear communication in our international environment.
  • A proven track record of customer orientation, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
