About the Role:

This position is a key part of our research team, focusing on developing, operating, and characterizing superconducting quantum devices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing novel methods for experimentation, fabrication, and characterization
  • Designing and implementing gate implementations, benchmarking, and algorithms
  • Addressing interdisciplinary challenges in systems engineering
  • Installing and improving experimental setups and fabrication tools
  • Supervising and guiding Master and PhD students
  • Participating in project meetings and events
  • Publishing research findings on an international stage

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master or PhD in physics or a related field with a background in experimental quantum information
  • Deep knowledge of solid state physics and/or quantum information
  • Experience with microfabrication and/or operating and calibrating quantum systems
  • Proficiency in hardware interfacing programming in Python
  • Strong teamwork and motivation to work in an experimental laboratory
  • Preferred qualifications include a background in quantum computing and experience with cryogenics, signal delivery, materials optimization, and microwave control
