Senior Sourcing Project Manager for Complex Technology Projects

For our customer in the precision mechanics and optics industry, we are seeking a Sourcing Project Manager to start as soon as possible. As part of a temporary employment contract, you will become the linchpin of complex technology projects by taking over the planning, management, monitoring, and reporting of investment projects as well as managing the supplier interface.
Key Responsibilities
- You will accompany and monitor the supplier's measures to synchronize their development and manufacturing processes for components, modules, or systems with our own product development process.
- You will systematically set up internal and external stakeholder management and coordinate its operational implementation.
- You will provide methods and tools for structured collaboration and agree these with suppliers.
- You will take on the technical management of cross-functional teams at the interface to external partners for one or more investment projects and work closely with representatives from the specialist areas of development, quality, logistics, and commercial purchasing.
Requirements
- You have a technical, scientific, or commercial university degree and 3-5 years of professional experience.
- You have extensive knowledge and several years of experience in project management, ideally for complex investment projects (machines and systems) and in cooperation with suppliers.
- You have a methodical, structured way of working together with the ambition to continuously improve work processes (Kaizen principle).
- You have strong communication skills and assertiveness.
- You are business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
- You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
