Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Assistant to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting facility component inspections, recording data, and ensuring that requirements are incorporated into the Installation Status Report (ISR) for planning, programming, and accomplishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct facility component inspections and record data
  • Ensure requirements are incorporated into the ISR
  • Develop preliminary deficiency cost estimates for maintenance and repair work
  • Perform routine and repetitive project development work
  • Discuss findings with supervisor and recommend work to be performed

Requirements:

  • Meister Diploma or Staatlich geprüfter Techniker in a trades or crafts field directly related to the position
  • 1 year of job-related experience as defined below
  • English Language Proficiency level B1 and German Language Proficiency level C1 required
