Internship Opportunity in Orbit Control and Satellite Operations

EUMETSAT is seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to support its mission analysis team in the field of orbit control and satellite operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarize yourself with EUMETSAT's mission analysis tools and software
  • Define and implement operational scenarios for satellite orbit control
  • Execute simulations to evaluate orbit control strategies
  • Document and synthesize results in a comprehensive report and presentation
  • Support day-to-day activities within the team
Requirements:
  • Strong background in mathematics and applied sciences, particularly in orbit mechanics
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB and Python
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in researching ideas
