Job Summary:
Moonfare is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our global team. This integral role offers the opportunity to shape our compliance framework, ensuring seamless processes to mandatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations while delivering high-quality client satisfaction.
About the Role:
- Ensure that Moonfare is compliant with relevant laws and regulations, focusing on financial crimes such as money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, bribery, corruption, and other criminal activities.
- Mitigate the risks associated with financial crimes, protecting Moonfare's reputation and assets while maintaining the integrity of financial systems.
- Manage and coordinate compliance queries from operational departments.
- Support the implementation of frameworks and processes to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients.
- Stay up-to-date with market practices, including attending conferences and events.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in AML/KYC Compliance (experience within the fund industry is a plus, but not necessary).
- Previous experience or knowledge of CSSF/BAFIN.
- Experience of working with AIFMD/UCITS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to challenge the status quo when necessary.
