About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to join our team at Siemens Energy in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany. As a key member of our local management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our IT strategy and driving digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy for the site, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven work culture.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our IT systems, including SAP/ERP, networks, servers, and end-user devices.
  • Oversee IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Implement and monitor IT security measures to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure that IT solutions meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in a senior IT role, preferably in a production environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing IT teams, managing complex IT projects, and implementing IT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, IT security, and modern technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in German and English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
