About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Group Strategy, Group M&A, and Group Venture Portfolio Management teams. As an intern, you will gain valuable insights into the activities of these teams and contribute to the development of strategic projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing decision documents for the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse Group
  • Analyze competitor activities and key market trends to support the teams in managing the group-wide strategy process
  • Support financial modeling and valuation of potential deal opportunities using value and multiple-based valuation methods
  • Participate in ongoing transactions, analyze and evaluate potential investment targets, and assist in the preparation of investment proposals/presentations for DBAG's management
  • Research and evaluate selected markets in detail and assess them for attractive investment opportunities
  • Support portfolio management and evaluate and maintain the venture pipeline and deal flow database
Requirements
  • Enrolled at a state-recognized university for the entire duration of the internship
  • Completed at least four semesters or currently in a gap year after completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields of study
  • Very good grades, motivated, and curious about the topics of the three departments
  • Interest in and basic knowledge of financial analysis and company valuation
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly integrate into the team
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German (at least B2)
