About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Robotics Engineer to join our Navigation & Localization team at Magazino GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our ROS nodes and libraries, as well as evaluating the performance of our robots in various environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Method Development: Design and implement methods for free and constrained navigation in dynamic warehouse and industrial environments.
  • ROS Node and Library Maintenance: Develop, test, and maintain our ROS nodes and libraries to ensure seamless integration with our robots.
  • Robot Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of our robots in various environments, including warehouse and industrial settings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance our robots' performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently studying in the field of robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in C++ or Python programming languages.
  • Experience: Familiarity with ROS methods for navigation and path planning, as well as experience with sensor fusion, 2D/3D cameras, 2D/3D laser scanners, or IMUs is a plus.
  • Working Style: Structured and independent working style with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
