Global Compensation Manager Position in International Environment

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Global Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our team in Essen, Germany.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including holiday pay and a Christmas bonus, with an estimated salary range of €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing compensation processes and tools for all employees, particularly at top levels. This includes merit, short-term and long-term incentives, sales incentives, and benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing compensation processes and tools
  • Participating in compensation surveys and preparing salary bands and benefits policies
  • Preparing and managing annual salary increases and bonuses for top levels
  • Preparing personnel-related approval requests for Board decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION STUDIES, ideally with an HR focus
  • 4-5 years operational work experience in compensation, in an international environment
  • FLUENT IN SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH
  • BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF LABOR LAW, additional compensation-related topics, and operational contract and compensation management
  • CONCEPTUAL AND EXECUTION-ORIENTED COMPETENCIES
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AT ALL LEVELS, with a high level of cultural sensitivity
  • OPEN-MINDED, TEAM PLAYER, used to communicating at different levels of the organization, flexible, 'CAN DO' MENTALITY, RESULTS-ORIENTATED
