Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Initiatives:
- Assist in executing the HUB sourcing strategy within the manufacturing facility
- Oversee local or HUB designated direct expenditures
- Convert local needs into Service Level Agreements with vendors
- Bidding and Order Management:
- Monitor material pricing and contractual terms throughout the supply chain
- Assess discrepancies between bids and actual outcomes, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Lead supply chain management efforts related to order processing for availability and cost efficiency
- Manufacturing Processes:
- Participate in critical material definition and supply capability assessments
- Guide or support the commodity hedging process
- Manage factory cost savings, cost avoidance, claims recovery reporting, and supply chain performance metrics
- Vendor Management:
- Evaluate the qualifications of local assigned contractors
- Conduct Supplier Performance Assessments for selected vendors
- Identify and resolve performance challenges, lead claims management efforts
- Oversee Purchase Order Management and Delivery to Payment processes
- Project Involvement:
- Assist in initiatives aimed at reducing material costs and mitigating risks
- Implement supply chain management activities for various projects
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with MRP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in matrix organizations
- Exceptional negotiation capabilities
- Proficiency in MS tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI
- Commitment to compliance and ethical standards
This role serves as a temporary replacement for parental leave.
