About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing Department in Troisdorf. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth and maximizing sales volume of specialty interlayers in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and Balticum regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure growth and maximize sales volume of specialty interlayers in the designated regions.
- Responsibility for achieving business targets, including revenue, pricing, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed costs, safety/ethics, and customer technical support.
- Enforce price increases and set pricing guidelines to maintain high margins for layer pads.
- Provide technical support and ensure the handling of customer complaints and claims.
- Analyze market information from customers and ADECs.
- Collaborate with the HPP EMEA team and initiate/facilitate the sharing of best practices.
- Integrate new strategic and cultural guiding principles into daily work.
- Conduct customer segmentation to improve costs and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and expand relationships with leading laminated glass customers, architects, engineers, consultants, and glaziers.
- Completed Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural sciences, or business administration.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in technical sales, preferably in the glass industry.
- Extensive experience in sales and marketing of technical/chemical products.
- Knowledge of key financial figures and adherence to budgets and target agreements.
- Fluency in English; German and other language skills are an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of BDE, SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as online networking tools like Zoom and Miro.
- Permanent employment contract.
- Pay scale for the chemical industry, agreed upon with the IGBCE.

Estimated salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
