Senior Financial Manager for Banking and FinTech

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our dynamic finance team at Raisin Bank. As a tech-driven bank, we require someone who is passionate about contributing to our financial management and analysis processes.

About the Role
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy with accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data with tech-driven tools.
  • Ensure compliance with German financial regulations (HGB, IFRS) and banking industry standards.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to senior management to support business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the development and implementation of budgets and forecasts. Gather and analyze financial data to inform decision-making.

Accounting and Auditing: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Support the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with German financial regulations (HGB, IFRS) and banking industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial reporting and analysis.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within the banking or FinTech industry.
  • Understanding of German accounting principles (HGB) and international standards (IFRS) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
