Lead the Development of CRYENGINE's Editor Framework

Crytek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical lead to lead the development of CRYENGINE's editor framework. As a key member of our engine team, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements of our developers and create clear roadmaps for CRYENGINE Editor tooling.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of CRYENGINE's editor framework, ensuring reliability, stability, and quality of the editor code base.
  • Collaborate with the teams within Crytek to understand the requirements of our developers and create clear roadmaps for CRYENGINE Editor tooling.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse engine team, providing an environment setup for them to thrive and enjoy their work.
  • Assist production staff in planning and maintaining development schedules.
  • Support live games with systems and regular Engine updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience working on AAA game titles in a Senior or Lead technical position within Tools or Game Engine.
  • Strong technical background and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • C++, QT.
  • Very good knowledge of asset creation pipelines.
  • Knowledge of common UI architecture strategies such as MVC, MVP, MVVM, MVI and when best to deploy them.
