Expert Auditor and IFRS Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our Global Finance Team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency. Your expertise will be leveraged to conduct thorough audits, provide insightful analyses, and drive excellence in financial reporting.

Your Tasks:
  • Act as a global IFRS advisor on specific IFRS standards, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and prepare group reports and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Document and update KWS-wide accounting policies according to the latest standards and interpretations.
  • Handle special IFRS topics during quarterly closings and business partner/units queries.
  • Develop and perform quality reviews of financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Document and improve accounting-related processes and procedures, driving change and improvement.
  • Provide internal trainings and presentations.
  • Support the external audit process.
Your Profile:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in accounting and audit. Your profile should include:

  • An academic degree with a focus on Accounting/Audit or another international accountants' certificate.
  • Several years of experience in the field of Audit and/or Group Accounting.
  • Experience working in a SAP environment or other ERP systems, as well as MS Office applications.
  • A proven record of applying accounting principles and procedures in an international environment.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, German as a plus.
