Backed by a strong investor with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, this company is poised for continued growth.

Your Role: Shaping Financial Success in a Rapidly Expanding Environment

Due to their impressive expansion through new acquisitions, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Balance Sheet Accountant to join their team. You will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of this dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with internal and external accounting teams.
  • Conduct regular reviews of external accounting records.
  • Independently manage the accounting for a holding company.
  • Provide essential support during the integration of new locations into the accounting system (Post Merger Integration).
  • Drive the development, implementation, improvement, and standardization of accounting systems and processes.
  • Actively participate in consolidation and group closing activities.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for management, departments, location managers, auditors, and tax consultants.
  • Lead complex projects independently with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • A completed degree in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation, or equivalent qualifications as a Tax Specialist or commercial training with further education as a Balance Sheet Accountant.
  • Solid theoretical and practical experience in HGB accounting, ideally gained from a medium-sized auditing or tax consulting firm, near-audit advisory, or the corporate sector.
  • (Basic) knowledge of group financial statements preparation and/or group audit procedures.
  • Excellent MS-Office skills, particularly Excel. Experience with Datev or LucaNet is a plus.
  • Experience conducting regular reviews and accompanying annual audits is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels and when interacting with external contacts.
  • Very good German language proficiency.
  • A solution-oriented and loyal personality with meticulous attention to detail, efficient communication, and the ability to thrive in a diverse work environment.
