Job Description
The PMO Consultant in the S/4HANA Finance Transformation project plays a pivotal role in operational steering towards success by managing complexities and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role involves close collaboration with business and IT leadership to drive the S/4 transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management and Oversight: Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to all stakeholders' satisfaction.
- Strategic Alignment: Work with the steering committee and joint business/IT project leadership to develop a business transformation approach that aligns with the company's strategic vision.
- Value and Impact Focus: Set up a content and value-oriented transformation office that drives significant organizational impact.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate detailed reviews and decision meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the program team and external partners.
- Risk and Compliance Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives, ensuring timely alignment with key decision-makers to secure organization-wide buy-in.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record (at least 3-5 years) in project management, preferably with experience in managing large-scale ERP or finance transformation projects.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of S/4HANA Finance and core business processes. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership: Capable of leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Languages: Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Living experience in Europe and working experience in a European-based company.
