We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Graduate Engineering Manager to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon. As a Graduate Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of equipment availability by ensuring all preventative maintenance activities are conducted while following all internal processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager in implementing, recording, and auditing safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for all staff.
- Implement and carry out network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
- Work with the team and the wider network to harness the technical expertise available and build solutions.
- Learn the key aspects of all site-based RME roles.
- Manage projects or tasks as directed by the site manager.
- Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a solid connection to the team and daily work.
- Willingsness to travel as required to other Amazon locations to support training and development.
- Work alongside Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians to understand day-to-day challenges faced.
- Lead small to medium-sized teams of multi-skilled Technicians; developing direct line management responsibilities.
- Recently graduated or working towards an Engineering's Degree in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Industrial, Mechatronics, Chemical.
- Maximum 2 years' work experience within a relevant industry.
- Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and German at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
- Knowledge of appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, Computer-aided Design).
- Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Control) based control systems.
- Knowledge of Project Management frameworks.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs.
- Knowledge of Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Processes.
- Knowledge of Automated Warehousing environments.
- Team leadership experience.
