Machinist Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist Technician to join our team at BENTELER Steel/Tube in the Production department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex CNC machines, as well as performing maintenance and repair tasks on various metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, set up, and operate high-precision turning machines
• Create and optimize programs for CNC machines to ensure efficient production
• Inspect and work on complex metal workpieces with high accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal machine performance

Requirements:

• Completed training in a metal profession, preferably as a machinist or metalworking specialist
• Prior experience in a metal profession, with a strong background in CNC machine operation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of Siemens and FANUC controls is a significant advantage
