Position: Junior Expert in Information and Communication Technology

We are seeking a Junior Expert in Information and Communication Technology to become a vital part of our team at DB InfraGO AG. Our Technical Specialists / Knowledge Management team comprises 25 professionals from diverse backgrounds, and we are eager to integrate your expertise. Our mission is to enhance the travel experience by providing modern and appealing passenger stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise project leaders during the initial assessment and formulation of strategies for construction or replacement initiatives, focusing on systems for passenger information, audio, or telecommunication within station projects.
  • Assist in establishing project directives for planning, including requirements, quality standards, and system interfaces across various business sectors, while serving as a technical advisor to all project stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of designs during project phases to ensure adherence to quality standards based on established guidelines and recognized technical norms.
  • Support and counsel project managers and station administration, preparing technical documentation as necessary.
  • Guarantee compliance with technical framework stipulations and implement ICT security protocols.
  • Carry out technical inspections prior to the activation of ICT systems.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a degree in Information, Message, or Communication Technology, or a related discipline; alternatively, hold qualifications as a state-certified technician or master craftsman in telecommunications.
  • Preferably have relevant professional experience in ICT systems.
  • Familiarity with applicable legal standards and an understanding of infrastructure and technology.
  • Demonstrate experience in project management along with exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Exhibit strong consulting and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proficient in standard IT applications such as MS Office, and willing to learn specialized tools and methodologies as required.
