Job Overview

The Project Manager for Tire Additives will play a critical role in the Additives growth platform at allnex. This position will lead key development projects related to tire additives, from project initiation through scale-up and market introduction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key projects within the Additives growth platform, focusing on tire additives development.
  • Initiate and execute complex development projects throughout the project life cycle, from project scoping to scale-up and market introduction.
  • Closely collaborate with other functions, such as Business Development, Commercial, Production, and Process Development, to ensure project success.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Marketing to generate new project ideas and coordinate resources for efficient product and process development.
  • Expand allnex's tire additives business into new applications and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cooperation partners and customers on open innovation projects to address relevant market needs.
  • Support the global business goals within the allnex additives business, which are based on strong growth expectations.
  • Efficiently coordinate resources for developing new products and testing them in relevant applications.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related fields.
  • 2-5 years of project management and product development experience in a relevant industry branch or research institute.
  • Strong project management and interpersonal abilities with a proven track record.
  • Broad understanding of polymer chemistry and physics, including polymer characterization techniques and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and process development.
  • Ability to set up and prioritize R&D projects based on global market, regulatory, or business needs.
  • Analytical approach to scope and execute projects, ensuring market-viable technical solutions.
  • Technical diagnostic skills for process problem-solving.
