Role and Responsibilities

  • Supports all EU customers regarding technology roadmap and technical promotion activities as well as customer onboarding on the B2B system
  • Manages and updates technical promotion and marketing materials
  • Responsible for analysing the market and technology (TAM, SAM and SOM), considering the competition and market shares with different potential customers
  • Observe and analyse existing and emerging markets and trends in the Foundry business especially Security, Automotive, IOT and Industrial Market
  • Identify new projects and initiate and follow-up product qualification / design-in
  • Arrange and deliver technical presentations in-house and on customer site
  • Plan and carry out professional promotion activities in consultation and cooperation with assigned product portfolio
  • Analyse and evaluate business results and submit regular business reports
  • Prepare, supervise and monitor the relevant Global Supply Chain including forecast
  • Facilitate and strengthen effective communication amongst all commercial parties between customer and Samsung support entities
  • Foster key relationships to customers

Skills and Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent preferred
  • Extensive sales thinking and pro-active / consultative sales approach
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Persuasive and professional presenting products / technologies and concepts to customers
  • Good knowledge of Foundry application markets and customers (Automotive, Security, Banking & Gov. ID and Industrial Market)
  • More than 5 years professional experience in a sales function within the semiconductor area (Design Flows, EDA setup, PPA assessments, etc)
  • Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
  • Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision
  • Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
  • Familiarity to work with state of the art software applications (MS-Office, SAP/R3)
  • Fluent in German and English language
