We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at GULP – experts united in Leipzig. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting customer expectations.

About the Role

  • Supervise technical projects from initial concept to commissioning at the customer's premises in product development and special machine construction.
  • Lay the groundwork for developers, ensuring a smooth project workflow.
  • Provide project support and coordination with customers or production teams on all matters.
  • Log development progress in the development department.
  • Take responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and project performance.
  • Coordinate and manage the project team.
  • Collaborate in controlling and optimizing the PMO and PPM.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechanical engineering, physics, computer science, or comparable training.
  • Many years of professional experience as a project manager in a technical environment, ideally in the solar industry.
  • Experience in portfolio or higher-level resource management.
  • Further training as a project manager (GPM), at least level C or comparable, an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken English and good German language skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and a good mix of hands-on mentality and methodological strength.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time.
