Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to lead our project management team in the development of vehicle systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing requirement specifications for vehicle and system levels
• Creating vehicle concepts considering functional safety
• Designing and planning vehicle functions (electrical, control, mechanical)
• Integrating systems in coordination with safety engineers
• Collaborating with internal and external partners
• Managing interfaces with other subsystems
• Overseeing electronic subsystems or system components
• Supporting system suppliers in integration and validation
• Documenting technical solutions
• Participating in tests and validations on the vehicle

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of rail vehicle systems and industry standards
• Experience with development processes according to specific standards
• Hardware and software component knowledge
• Familiarity with vehicle networking protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Ability to travel
