Vantage Data Centers is seeking a seasoned Senior Director, Development Delivery, EMEA to lead our project management team and drive strategic corporate objectives. This role will oversee the entire construction process, from entitlement and permitting to project closeout, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the overall construction program to achieve standardization, reduce cycle time, and lower costs.
- Create project tools, processes, and procedures to ensure a "perfect project" launch every time.
- Define and develop key business engagement processes to facilitate leadership decision-making.
- Establish a comprehensive QA/QC program to prevent problems and identify risks early in the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive coordination and integration.
- Lead project teams through delegation, overseeing all aspects of construction, including pre-construction, design, permitting, entitlements, competitive bidding, team selection, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Hold project teams accountable for creating and managing project budgets, establishing monthly forecasts, and managing variances.
- Ensure project teams drive coordination and integration of internal stakeholders within the project.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in a management role, with 10-15 years preferred.
- Data center experience is required.
- Experience in CSA and MEP construction management is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools like MS Project or P6.
- Travel requirements are expected to be 5-10% but may increase over time.
