We are currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist for Construction Materials to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of materials to our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize material costs and improve supply chain efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and delivery terms
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless material delivery and minimize disruptions
- Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices, including contract management and negotiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools
